To apply custom icons:
Apex Launcher and Nova Launcher Prime: Place shortcut on homescreen > Long press on shortcut and pick Edit > Press upon the app icon > Select (from) Icon Pack > Select Minimal Pixel > Choose the icon you desire to apply.
Desktop Visualizer: at the DVR setup screen > Press Select Icon > Select Others > Select Minimal Pixel > Choose the icon. (Custom icons are located at the end of the list)
